Where can I visit close to Regent Porto Montenegro?

Regent Porto Montenegro is a short drive from so many scenic and historic Montenegrin destinations.

Kotor is a historic naval town, situated in a secluded bay sometimes described as the southernmost fjord in Europe. This important Mediterranean port is surrounded by forts built during the Venetian period and has impressive overhanging limestone cliffs and mountains.

A short drive from Kotor, is the famous Lady of the Rock. According to legend, this islet off the coast of Perast was made over centuries by local seamen who kept an ancient oath after finding the icon of Madonna and Child on the rock in the sea. Upon returning from each successful voyage, they laid a rock in the bay and over time, the small island emerged from the sea and now features a church and museum.

One of the most impressive restaurants in the local area is Star Mlini, serving fresh, perfectly prepared seafood. The surroundings are just as magical as the food with wooden bridges, a lookout tower, sunset swings and outdoor lantern lit dining with a view.

Situated at the top of a hill with incredible views over the mountains and Adriatic coast and serving beautiful Rose, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon with local cheese is the vineyard of Savina. Book a tour and taste the award-winning wines whilst enjoying the surrounding vistas.

From Regent Porto Montenegro, the town of Tivat is within a few minute’s walk from the hotel and Dubrovnik is only a 90 minute drive, making it an ideal twin centre destination.
